FLB Law and Eric Bernheim Recognized in 2026 Chambers USA Rankings

WESTPORT, Conn. (June 2026) – FLB Law is proud to announce that its Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use practice has earned a Band 1 ranking in the 2026 Chambers USA Guide, recognizing the firm's position among Connecticut's leading land use and zoning law practices.

In addition, FLB Law Managing Partner Eric D. Bernheim was recognized individually with a Band 1 ranking in Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use and a Band 3 ranking in Real Estate.

Chambers USA ranks law firms and individual attorneys in bands from 1 to 7, with Band 1 representing the highest level of recognition in a practice area. Rankings are determined through extensive independent research, including interviews with clients, peers, and industry professionals, and evaluate factors such as legal ability, client service, commercial awareness, diligence, and professional conduct.

"We are honored to receive this recognition from Chambers USA," said Bernheim. "These rankings reflect the trust our clients place in us and the dedication of our entire team. We are grateful for the opportunity to help clients navigate complex real estate, land use, and zoning matters throughout Connecticut."

As head of FLB Law's Real Estate and Land Use & Zoning practices, Bernheim advises developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, and business owners on a broad range of transactions, development projects, leasing matters, and regulatory approvals. His practice includes representing national hospitality brands and regional developers in matters involving acquisitions, financing, permitting, zoning approvals, and land use entitlements.

His client roster includes national restaurant brands such as bartaco, Barcelona Wine Bar, Sixty Vines, Whiskey Cake, Mexican Sugar, Hawkers, and Mecha Noodle Bar.

Under Bernheim's leadership, FLB Law's Real Estate and Land Use & Zoning team has established a reputation for guiding clients through sophisticated development projects and regulatory challenges across Connecticut.

Bernheim has also contributed to several notable projects across Fairfield County, including The SoNo Collection, the Westport Weston Family YMCA, The Norwalk Art Space, and Garavel Subaru's new dealership.

Bernheim founded the annual Real Estate Outlook, a widely attended event that draws leading industry professionals to discuss market trends and development insights.

Bernheim's recognition by Chambers USA adds to a growing list of professional accolades, including honors from Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and the Connecticut Law Tribune.
