Rick Costantini Successfully Advocates for Neighbor Before the Westport Zoning Board of Appeal

Architect’s rendering of new 23 Soundview Drive.

FLB Law Partner Rick Costantini successfully advocated for his client before the Westport Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) in support of a variance to allow the client’s neighbor to replace the house at 23 Soundview Drive with a new one that overlooks Compo Beach.

The neighbor had previously been denied by the ZBA, so the client hired FLB Law to help ensure the new home would not negatively impact their pristine views of Long Island Sound or their property value.

While FLB Law usually represents applicants before the ZBA, in this case, the client was the applicant’s neighbor who supported the application because it protected views and property values.  The plan was approved with complete neighborhood support by a four-to-one vote of the ZBA.

This outstanding achievement was reported in the Westport Journal.
