In support of the firm’s ACCELERATE program, FLB Law attorneys and staff packed backpacks with holiday treats and essentials – pancake mix, syrup, a book, a couple of toys and a toothbrush/dental kit – for local underserved children on behalf of the nonprofit, Filling in the Blanks. Filling in the Blanks is an organization dedicated to fighting childhood hunger by providing children with meals on the weekend. The organization serves families in need from Fairfield, Conn. and Westchester, NY. The firm also made monetary donation.

“FLB Law’s culture is rooted in community,” shared Matthias Sportini, FLB Law attorney. “While many of us serve on boards and volunteer individually, gathering together on a Saturday to give back as firm was especially meaningful. It adds something special to the holiday season.”

This is the firm’s second day of giving since opening its doors in February of this year. During the summer, FLB Law made birthday boxes for Norwalk-based Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC). The boxes included birthday supplies and a small gift for the children who reside in DVCC’s safe houses.

More information about the firm’s ACCELERATE program is available on the firm’s website.
