FLB Law Secures Major Victory for Local Real Estate Developer
FLB Law is proud to announce a significant victory on behalf of a local real estate owner and developer, reaffirming the firm's strength in land use, environmental, and appellate litigation.
The case arose after a Connecticut town denied the property owner's Inland Wetlands application to construct a small bridge over a brook. The bridge was a critical component of a proposed residential housing development, and without approval, the future of the project was placed in jeopardy.
Following the denial, the property owner retained FLB Law to challenge the decision. Partners Eric Bernheim and Stephen P. Fogerty carefully analyzed the record and crafted a compelling appeal, demonstrating that the town's decision was unsupported by the evidence and inconsistent with applicable law.
FLB Law prevailed on appeal.
In a sharply worded decision, the court issued a strong rebuke of the town's denial and ordered the application approved, clearing the way for the long-awaited residential development to move forward. The decision marked a significant victory for the client, allowing the long-delayed residential development to move forward.
FLB Law is proud to help developers, property owners, and businesses overcome complex legal challenges and achieve successful outcomes in real estate, land use, and environmental matters.
