FLB Law Makes Holiday Cards for Circle of Care Families Battling Pediatric Cancer

On November 1, 2023, FLB Law attorneys and staff came together for their quarterly Day of Service, making holiday cards for Circle of Care, a nonprofit organization that offers emotional and financial support to children who are fighting cancer and their families. The support provided by Circle of Care starts from the day of diagnosis and continues throughout the treatment and beyond.

The company produced 150 cards that will be paired with holiday gifts for Circle of Care families and also made a monetary contribution to the organization.

FLB Law's ACCELERATE program provides support to local nonprofits and small businesses by offering creative solutions to the challenges they face. Initiatives have included a program to pack backpacks with holiday treats and essentials such as pancake mix, syrup, a book, a couple of toys, and a toothbrush/dental kit for Filling in the Blanks. They also made birthday boxes for the Norwalk-based Domestic Violence Crisis Center, donated 1,200 cans of soup to the Filling in the Blanks SOUPer Bowl Food Drive, created toiletry and produce baskets for Person to Person, and carried out gardening work at the Gillespie Center in Westport.

Attorneys also serve on the boards of the Norwalk ArtSpace, MoCA Westport, and Friends of Sherwood Island State Park, among others.
