FLB Law Expedites Dismissal for Shopping Center Owner in Slip & Fall Case

FLB Law Partner Joshua Auxier successfully represented a Norwalk shopping center owner in a slip and fall case in Stamford Superior Court. The plaintiff alleged that he sustained numerous injuries after slipping and falling on ice located in the shopping center's parking lot, which prohibited him from working and required surgery.

Josh acted swiftly and filed a motion for summary judgment, asserting that his client did not control or maintain the area where the plaintiff fell and, therefore, was not responsible for maintaining it. The court accepted his arguments and granted the motion for summary judgment, thereby dismissing the case as to the owner. The co-defendant snowplow contractor is still litigating the case.

This case handling is a testament to FLB Law's legal acumen and ability to assess a case and get it dismissed quickly when possible, thereby saving clients valuable time and money.
